Winter Field Day for 2026 will be held January 24, at Hope Afield, 2606 Old Stage Rd, Greenville, AL 36037. GPS coordinates 31.8874, -86.5846. See schedule below.
Jim Bell will operate two positions this year.
The first position will be a voice station where participants will utilize a microphone and a radio to communicate with other field day sites utilizing voice transmissions.
The second position will be a digital station where participants will utilize a computer and radio to communicate with other field day sites. The computer will generate text messages that are then transmitted by the radio.
We will gladly instruct you on operations of all two positions and help you make radio contacts.
So come join us for Field Day, make some contacts and find out about the exciting field of Amateur Radio. You will find out that technology can be fun and useful!
